Visit my sister site: The Vernon Family of the Peak District
This website is dedicated to the Hallam family of Derbyshire, centred around the Peak District area. The story of my family begins in Bradwell and includes places such as Hope, Smalldale, Wormhill, Peak Forest, Dove Holes, Chapel-en-le-Frith, Sparrowpit, Chapel Milton, Chinley and Hayfield.
If you're researching your family tree and you are descended from the Hallam family of northern Derbyshire, you'll hopefully find some of the information on this site useful to your own research.
During the many years of researching my Hallam family roots, I have gathered a wide variety of resources and built a large family tree. This website provides details about my own Hallam Family Tree, as well as many of the resources I have used in my research. Please have a look at the Hallam Family Sources and see if any of the information provided is of use to you in your research.
Finally, if you would like to comment on the site or contribute information about some of your own Hallam ancestors, I would be delighted to hear from you. Please select the Contact tab at the top of this page to get in touch, or share your research interests in the Forum.
